“Diabetes Mine” Blogger Wins Award

I’d like to take a moment to congratulate Amy Tenderich of Diabetes Mine for winner of this year’s LillyforLife Achievement Award for diabetes journalism.
Established by the pharmaceutical corporation Eli Lilly and Company in 2002, the LillyforLife Achievement Awards celebrate the work of people who either live with diabetes or contribute to the lives of those who do. (Or in the case of Amy, both.)
While I hope you’re entertained by my snotty little entries and funny stories of how I ate a donut and lost all feeling below the knees or whatever my cautinary tale of the day might be, I hope you’re reading Amy’s stuff, too. She is always informative and never boring, and for every person who reads my stuff and snorts with amusement, someone else is over there learning something valuable.
Maybe I should start stealing her best stuff.
(Just kidding. I already steal her best stuff.)

Loved your post. I’m gonna steal all your best stuff, just so you know.
I am enjoying Amy’s stuff at Diabetes Mine. I especially like the Diabetic Partner Follies posts, since I’m a diabetic and the partner of a diabetic.
