Good Monday, My Diabetic Friends…
Happy Monday to y’all! I don’t have a whole lot of new diabetic news today. There was no new medication nor research studies published in the last few days, after all it is vacation season, right? And I
don’t have too much to offer in my personal diabetic life, except I think I ate an entire cheesecake this weekend thanks to one of my good friends, Debbie. By the way, you would have to as well, it is the best home made cheesecake in the entire world, and I get to eat about 2-3 times a year, so I gorged myself on it.
My sugars still stayed intact, but it wasn’t very responsible on my part, and I felt a lil’ bad about it, but you have to be crazy once in a while! So yeah, the entire cheesecake is gone and it was so ding dang good! I don’t even have any good patient stories from this past week, everybody behaved . Well, except for that lady that insisted she talked to squirrels and that the rodents rang her doorbell to be fed, and that is why she passed out and fell, but that is another story all together!
But I would like to welcome a new writer to our b5 science and health family. Sara has taken over for Wade at Healthbolt.net .
She is very funny and is a great read. Go check her out and say hello. Healthbolt offers any type of health info, tip or story that you wouldn’t expect to see, but would miss if it wasn’t there! And I also wanted to remind y’all that I write on A Hearty Life as well. So if you like what I offer here, go check me out over on my cardiac blog. And diabetes and heart disease does go hand in hand, so…
Remember that if anyone ever has anything to share or a personal reflection that would be helpful to others, let me know. And topic suggestions are always welcome. This is as much your blog as it is mine, right? Let me here from ya!

Thanks for the linky! ;) Mmmm, cheesecake. The Cheesecake Factory has a low-carb version that is pretty good.
