Grant for the study of diabetic treatment

An upcoming research area in the treatment of diabetes is the use of stem cells.  Multicell, an adult stem cell company supplies immortalized non-tumorigenic human liver cells for drug discovery applications. The company has just been awarded a grant to study the use of its proprietary Immunoglobulin therapeutic for type 1 diabetes.  The grant has been sponsored by the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
