I Have Settled On A New Glucometer, I Think?
Ok, so I think I have settled on The One Touch Mini glucometer. What do you think? I also
have a coupon that will make it zero dollars, as my insurance does not pick up the cost. What have you found with this lil’ ol’ device? Good, bad, ugly? I want to know before I take the leap. Fill me in. And how about the costs of the strips. Are they pricier, or the norm? I am asking y’all. I know I am the diabetic educator and all, but you guys know a thing or two! Help me out here! Thanks and have a great weekend!

I like the OneTouch Mini, except the current models don’t allow you to download the data.
Have a look at the AgaMatrix WaveSense KeyNote meter. Strips are about $19 for 50 and I really like the feel of this meter. Strip design is nice. Plus the download software is also excellent. This would be my choice, except that the Dexcom CGM forces me to use the OneTouch Ultra.
