My wife brought home Girl Scout cookies today.
And I might have eaten a few of them.
Well, come on. Thin Mints? I’m not made of stone.

Hey Rob,
My friend turned me on to you and Schuyler. I found your Diabetes Notes, and it has helped me tremedously. I had been avoiding going to the Dr. and addressing the issue. Something about this site pushed me to go and see him. (this site, and a rather horrifying ER episode where a woman had her leg amputated)
You showed me that people closer to me in age are being afflicted and I wasn’t alone. That although, yes it is very serious, it’s not, you know THAT serious. Whenever I bring it up to people, they act like I’ve been diagnosed with Ebola or something. It’s just a disease, one that I can control, and one that I am working on getting rid of.
Thanks for putting a positive and funny spin on something that does kinda suck.

Thin mints are evilly good. And hiding them in the freezer doesn’t help any because they taste even better frozen.

Samoas are my weakness. But an extra unit of Novolog and I am good! It’s only once a year.
