Diabetes Notes

Last Week In January- Journal 1/27-2/1/08

It’s about time, yeah? Update on me. I feel like I am treading water at times as I am sure you feel as well! I barely had time to use the bathroom this week, I know TMI, let alone write, exercise or for that matter eat! And now the weekend is here and that means relaxation right? Haha, yeah right.

It means Girl Scouts, sleepover, Swim meet and work… That nurse thing just doesn’t take a weekend brake like I think it should, lol!!! Oh well, that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

My bloodsugars have been in the good range, between 88 and 110 for the whole week. And diet wise, I have not eaten as good just due to the fact that I honestly ate maybe twice a day this week and it was just grab a granola bar and apple or inhale a piece of pizza. This working parent with 3 kids that are involved thing is really hard sometimes, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world!!

I did walk and rode the elliptical once this week, and I used my free weights and did sit ups and push ups but that is all. I have lost 2 more pounds, which was surprising considering the fact that I haven’t been that diabetic conscious. New week is coming my way though so I will jump up on that diabetic wagon, haha!
