March 27th: American Diabetes Alert Day

The American Diabetes Association will be sponsoring the 19th annual American Diabetes Alert Day on March 27, 2007.
The event is a one-day “wake-up call” intended to inform the American public about the seriousness of diabetes, particularly when it is left undiagnosed or untreated. Persons at risk for type 2 diabetes (and if you don’t know who you are by now, you simply haven’t been paying attention) are encouraged to take the American Diabetes Risk Test and to follow up a high score with a visit to their doctor.
As for me, I intend to be extra alert on that day, just to make sure that no donuts jump into my mouth when I’m not looking. I hate it when they do that.

So is it on the 27th or the 17th?

Who sent a robot into my brain and made me type 17? That was rude.
