Physical activity increases diabetes free life
According to a new study, physically activity increases one’s chance of remaining free of diabetes for a longer period of time. The data for the study came from Framingham Heart Study, which followed 5,200 residents of Framingham for the past 46 years. They found that in the case of moderately active individuals, life expectancy without diabetes is 2.3 years longer and in the case of highly active individuals, it is 4 years longer. Being at least moderately physically active increases one’s lifespan and also the time spent free of diabetes.
